I'm starting to hate this weather, gloomy & rainy, makes me tired and sleepy...

This pretty Parisian look is part of a Madewell catalog, not sure which one though, sometimes certain sites are a challenge, especially when I want to browse a lookbook or save some pictures for the blog... Well, Madewell has a pretty sweet tumble blog, check it out here.

Now, back to the look, love the stripe dress, on the other hand I do love almost everything with stripes so that's nothing new, and the simple yet still chic styling.

A pair of red flats are on wishlist for quite a while, but didn't get around to actually search for a pair, let alone buy it, still I'd a delicate stack of ruby rings to it too... I have a small obsession with delicate jewelry lately, talk about extremes.

Dragelor, a fost o adevarata placere sa citesc propunerile voastre pentru cel mai potrivit deznodamant despre John. Toate v-ati descurcat de minune si alegerea a fost dificila, dar necesara.
Astfel :
• Premiul I merge la Andreea, cu toate ca a depasit limita de 350 de cuvinte

Mai apoi....... Intr-o seara cand ma indreptam spre apartamentul pe care eu si John il imparteam numai de 2 saptamani , ma impiedic din cauza noilor mei pantofi si cad deloc gratios intr-o balta plina cu apa de ploaie. Imi venea sa mor de rusine mai ales ca nimeni nu se oferea sa ma ajute.Insa de odata cineva imi ofera o mana de ajutor. Zambesc jenata si cand imi indrept ochii in jos observ verigheta ce stralucea pe degetul inelar. Barbatul era foarte chipes,dar nu apuc sa il vad prea bine, ii multumesc din fuga si ma indepartez cu ochii in pamant si cu fata rosie de rusine.
O seara mai tarziu , la un restaurant John imi face cunostinta cu Ian si sotia lui Audrey, o femeie de o frumusete rece. Se pare ca Ian era un vechi coleg de la jurnalism a lui John, cunoscut de toti ca fiind un Don Juan cinic care s-a casatorit din nevoia de a urca pe scara sociala.
Nu ii spusesem nimic lui John de accident si nici de salvatorul meu pe care il recunoscusem ca fiind Ian. Mai rau se pare ca si el ma recunoscuse si toata seara imi tragea priviri cu subinteles,chiar imi atinsese piciorul pe sub masa.Audrey cu o fata schimonosita de gelozie ma privea cu o impasivitate falsa, prefacandu-se ca nu stie ce face sotul ei. Incercam sa rad discret la glumele sale, si sa ma feresc din calea mainilor lui pe care le punea ori pe bratul sau piciorul meu si sa nu ii dau nici un motiv ca sa creada ca ii raspund la avansuri.
M-am scuzat pentru moment de la masa ca sa merg la baie,insa aproape imediat Ian ma ajunge din urma si ma impinge in toaleta . Spunea tot felul de cuvinte cum ca imi stia trecutul si pasiunea mea pentru barbati casatoriti si daca nu vreau ca John sa afle de o presupusa aventura a mea trebuie sa ii fiu amanta. Privirea mi se intuneca la gandul ca puteam sa il pierd pe John din cauza trecutului meu .Nu stiam ce sa fac , sa ii cedez lui Ian sau il pierd pe John? Gandurile mi se invalmaseau prin cap, cand un zgomot puternic se aude si il vad pe Ian cazut la pamant,iar John il privea amenintator ,cu pumnii atat de stransi incat mainile i se albira.Nu-l vazusem niciodata pe John furios, cu ochii reci si lipsiti de inocenta lor obisnuita. Se intoarce catre mine si ma ia de mana atat de violent incat am tresarit de frica . Am iesit
ca o furtuna din restaurant , insa apuc sa vad ochii lui Audrey plini de durere si de o oarecare ciuda si realizez ca ea i-a spus tot. John nu se opreste decat atunci cand ajungem in fata apartamentului.Nu vroiam sa il pierd si incep sa bolborosesc tot felul de scuze si pareri de rau , sa ii spun ca nu vroiam sa il insel cu Ian si ca il iubesc. Lumina glaciara din ochii lui de mai inainte incepea sa se topeasca si privirea lui isi capata blandetea ei fireasca. Il priveam fara sa ii mai spun nimic cand gura se cobori asupra buzelor mele , zdrobindu-le intru-un sarut gingas,dar care avea o tenta posesiva. Nu am mai fusesem sarutata asa pana atunci,mintea mi se facu o ceata deasa, iar picioarele gelatina. John deschide usa de la apartament extrem de grabit,insa inainte de a termina sarutul ,imi sopteste in ureche cu o voce ragusita de pasiune ca trecutul nu conteaza,ca va avea incredere in mine mereu si ca ma iubea mai mult decat orice in lume indiferent de barfe , de faptul ca ai mei nu il placeau sau de faptul ca intr-o zi as putea sa il parasesc. Imi venea sa plang insa sarutarile lui tot mai insistente ma trimiteau in alta reverie. John parca se schimbase, devenise brusc mai tandru , imi soptea tot felul de cuvinte de amor si dorinte.
La acele cuvinte buzele mele se arcuira intr-un zambet promitator si am inchis usa in urma nostra.

Mai apoi ... cand totul parea sa fie linistit si eu implinita pentru ca am o viata frumoasa, l-am cunoscut la serviciu pe Mihai. Era un barbat cu 5 ani mai copt decat mine si era foarte chipes. El era un om de afaceri, se imbraca tot timpul la costum. Cand trecea printr-o incapere, lasa in urma sa mirosul parfumului sau scump si imbietor. Simteam ca ma pierd in prezenta sa, dar niciodata nu lasam sa se vada acest lucru. Printre primele lucruri pe care le-am remarcat la el a fost si faptul ca nu avea verigheta, deci nu era insurat sau cel putin vroia sa lasa aceasta impresie. Nu dupa mult timp de cand l-am vazut prima oara, Mihai m-a invitat in oras. Apoi m-a invitat la el acasa, dar m-am simtit destul sa rau sa stiu ca il insel pe John si am refuzat.
Iesirile au continuat. Pana la urma m-am dus la el si nu am regretat pasul pe care l-am facut. Serile petrecute alaturi de el mi se pareau fenomenale. Ne potriveam. Il simteam ca ma vrea si stia cum sa ma faca sa ma gandesc la el mai tot timpul si mai ales reusea sa ma faca sa revin la el acasa cu sufletul la gura.
John nu observase nici o schimbare la mine. Se comporta ca intotdeauna.
Intr-una din zile m-am simtit rau. Urma ca in acea seara sa il vad din nou pe Mihai. I-am spus ca va trebui sa amanam pentru ca ma simt rau.
Zilele in care m-am simtit rau au continuat. A trebuit sa ma internez in spital pentru a-mi face analizele . John venea zilnic sa ma viziteze.
In tot acest timp eu il cautam pe Mihai, dar acesta nu imi mai raspundea la telefon. Dupa ce am reinceput munca l-am vazusem cu alta tanara. M-a zarit si el, dar s-a facut ca nu ma cunoaste. M-am simtit proasta pentru faptul ca l-am inselat pe John,omul care a fost alaturi de mine intotdeauna si la rau si la bine.
Il iubesc pe John!

Am devenit nelinistita. Stii sentimentul acela ca ceva, nu tocmai placut, trebuie sa se intample ? Imi reveneau vechile obiceiuri. Desi in ultimul an nu mai privisem niciun alt barbat in afara de John, brusc am inceput sa ii observ pe ceilalti. Am inceput sa le accept cadourile, complimentele si chiar invitatiile. Nu se intamplase nimic mai mult cu ei, dar imi aminteam cum era cand primeam atentie din partea barbatilor. De cand il cunoscusem pe John, ma facusem total indisponibila pentru restul. Asa era corect. Dar nu era ce simteam.
Si desigur, totul se rasfrangea asupra lui John. Incepuse sa ma enerveze, sa il compar constant cu ceilalti. Eram in acel punct al relatiei in care el nu se mai chinuia sa ma surprinda sau sa imi spuna din senin vorbe frumoase. Chiar si « te iubesc-ul » il spunea numai dupa ce faceam sex. Aveam impresia ca este felul lui de a-mi multumi pentru orgasm.
Acum a intrat Mario pe fir. Ma alinta, imi cumpara bijuterii si ciocolata belgiana. Inca nu am facut sex, desi uneori ma abtin cu greu. Nu stiu ce sa fac. Daca mi-ar da John un semn ca putem trece peste rutina ce s-a instalat in vietile noastre. As vrea sa ne regasim, as vrea sa ne despartim, as vrea sa il vad in fiecare zi, as vrea sa plece pentru totdeauna. Nici eu nu mai stiu.

Si povestea...

Mereu am fost atrasa de barbatii nepotriviti: casatoriti, divortati, posesivi, de 40 de ani. Parca eram blestemata, vorba lu’ mamaie, unul bun nu se lipea de mine. Mama deja incepea sa isi puna intrebari cu privire la orientarea mea sexuala, caci nu adusesem niciun individ acasa. De cate ori imi reprosa acest lucru, imi muscam limba sa nu o sochez. As fi vrut sa ii spun: “Mami, imi place sa fac sex cu barbati, sa le simt atingerea usor aspra a manilor si respiratia pe pielea mea. Linisteste- te!”. Dar nu as fi putut sa i-o spun nicioadata. Nu ar mai fi dormit linistita, stiindu-si singura fata, departe de casa, in capitala fioroasa, devoratoare de suflete ingenue de provincie.

Nu aveam pe cine sa aduc acasa, cu cine sa ma afisez in fata parintilor si rudelor bagacioase, cand eu insami nu stiam ce sa mai fac sa ma ascund. Imi pria pozitia de amanta. Eram discreta, iubitoare in intimitate si rezervata in public. Nu voiam ca vreunul din ei sa isi lase nevasta sau logodnica pentru mine. Voiam doar sa fac sex. De calitate. Sa fiu purtata pe culmile placerii, sa capat mirosul lui, sa tanjesc dupa greutatea trupului sau ce imi apasa pe fiecare os si sa nu il las sa paraseasca asternuturile fara sa ma simt complet desavarsita.

Intr-o zi, insa, universul meu de barbati mici de statura, cu inceput de calvitie si abdomen moale a fost complet daramat de John. De dragul povestirii nu o sa ii folosesc numele adevarat, neaos. John era sau inca mai este (cui ii mai pasa) jurnalist. Clasicul soarece de biblioteca, cu ochelari, imbracat simplu, care manca in fiecare zi la Mc, caci era incapabil sa gateasca, si tot slab era. Daca ar fi trecut pe langa mine, nu l-as fi observat sub nicio forma. Dar viata te aduce intr-un asemenea context in care ajungi sa cunosti o persoana, desi nu iti doresti, si sa o indragesti atat de tare tocmai pentru ca este atat de diferita de tot ceea ce ai avut pana acum.

John era un impiedicat si jumatate, scapa totul din mana iar primele partide au fost sinonime cu haosul. Eu in stanga, el in dreapta.Ulterior, ne-am intalniti undeva la mijloc si a fost perfect. Ma convingea pe zi ce trece ca sexul este mai bun atunci cand exista sentimente. Trupul meu era purtat pe alte culmi, iar placerea simturilor atingea supremul. Inima-mi voia sa iasa din piept la fiecare atingere a sa.

Cu toate ca nu era nici cel mai romantic, nici cel mai atent si in niciun caz cel mai tandru, prezenta sa in viata mea imi oferea stabilitatea de care nici nu banuiam ca am nevoie. Adesea ma privea imbatat de fascinatie, de parca in fata ochilor i se infatisa unica femeie din lume. Traiam fericiti, cu impresia ca nu mai exista altcineva decat noi doi. Nu conta ca prietenele mele nu-l placeau, iar mama imi repeta obsesiv ca nu e de mine. John era al meu, parte din fiinta mea. Ne completam perfect si in acea perioada de desfatare amoroasa incepusem chiar sa cred in suflete pereche. Noi eram acelea.

I know things were really slow around here, but I finish my courses, no more projects, test & co, only a couple of exams and my thesis... This weekend is for relaxing, more or less, working a bit on this too.

To be sincere, I only had one pair of Lee Cooper jeans, and those had one short life because they were too long, I had to get them to tailor and the tailor ruined them. If I remember correctly, they were boot cut?! and after the tailor shorten them, you could see a bit of my ankles, this happened about 6 years ago and back them ankles showing boot cut jeans weren't a great sight, neither today. Still, they were a pretty cool pair of jeans...

I have this annoying habit to try on other people's stuff, mostly sunglasses but last week, tried a cap too... Though, I do post lot's of creepy photos with me on the blog, the cap photo is in top 5... that's because Cata didn't want to take one more photo, I didn't have a bling or something like probably that's why... still, want a cap now:)

Went thrifting, this pretty peplum dress is one of my finds.

Yummy lemonade at an antiques shop/cafe still this photo is more for the table... pretty piece, I wanted to take a couple of photos for DailyDreamDecor but I eventually forgot.

My Chloe perfumes collections expanded with L'eau de Chloe. Though the first one is a little too sweet for my taste, the second fragrance is simply amazing!
