Yesterday, was a special and fun day. Why so? Well, I attended my first #DBBM! What is that? December Beauty Bloggers Meeting, the fourth edition. Technically, I’m more of a lifestyle / fashion blogger, but lately I’ve posted more about beauty rather than fashion. Yeah, mainly because I’m a lazy panda and don’t take outfit pictures anymore, or quite often… instagram ruined everything! Kiddin’, kiddin’!
Besides the blogging part, I went as a speaker, so way out of my comfort zone, you don’t even imagine. It all started a couple of weeks back at Ivatherm’s anniversary party, after a couple of glasses of wine and some jaw dropping facts from the ladies. I spoke about the optimisation and monetisation of a fashion blog, just a small part based on what I’ve seen on their blogs. Having this blog for about 8 years taught me a great deal of things, that’s why I started working in this field.
The girls were so lovely and supportive, so I really home my advice helped them. Seriously considering to restart the Business of blogging series…. or actually being more organised and post regularly… hehehe, you know, I can’t follow my own advice…
Ana spoke before me and she was magnificent as always, don’t tell her I said that… shh.. I know first hand how much she works and she deserves it all.
Woaaa, and there where a lot of goodies, lots of them, I needed help to get home… I’ll tell you more about that later, pinky promise.
