Smart Candle workshop

A couple of days ago, on a gloomy Saturday I attended an workshop, a Smart Candle one.  Seriously you guys, I’m very lucky I didn’t cut one of my fingers off, but will get to that immediately.
What are Smart Candles, you may ask? There are actually flame less  rechargeable wax candles, hence the smart part.  It took me a while to figure that out after I arrived at the workshop because they look exactly like normal candles. Well, you know, except all the mess. The only downsize is that don’t have any scent, but they don’t drip all over the place, the special LEDs don’t emit heat and you don’t have to worry about burning anything. Plus, they have a long lasting live and they are highly customizable.
I received one with my face on it, nope I didn’t make it, I’m not that narcissistic, though, I’m really enjoying the candle.
So, the cutting fingers part… We had the chance to customize a Smart Candle, and because I’m so crafty, not, I picked black lace. I literally chopped, chopped the piece of fabric in an asymmetric something something that didn’t actually fit the candle, lucky with Camelia@SmartCandle who mended it. Then, I had to sew it, ieeei! Nevertheless, the candle turned out awesome, *wink, wink*. In fact, it’s near me on the desk as I’m writing this.
To wrap things up, ’cause this post is too long, the workshop was super fun, I love the candles, they came in lots of shapes & sizes and you can order your own here.
