Psychedelic mismatching prints? Boxy bag & floppy hat? What not to love? A bit of '60s inspiration for the contest too.
I know, I know, overboard with the pictures and these are the ones that past the third selection to say so, Alice took so many pretty photos and the New Look pieces deserve the spotlight.
When they asked me to get loose in one of their stores I was thrilled and right in the moment I put my foot in the Afi one, I saw this marvelous leopard coat, sparkly eyes and big grin ladies.
I've been spamming facebook & tumblr with leopard print for quite a while so this was the perfect occasion to get me a piece, but really now the coat itself is a show stopper imagine paired with the hat, if only I had a pan card with the blogs address on it...
I have one more New Look outfit to show you but that one, next week, in the meantime check out their stores in Bucharest, Cluj & Constanta.
As I'm waiting for the sun to come up surrounded by financial engineering courses,I want to show you this awesome shoot by LaChatterie starting Andreea@Dekadens and photograped by Claudiu Popescu. If you spotted something you like get in touch with Isabela here or visit the La Chatterie & Pixie Shoes showroom, 19th Bibescu Voda (next to Hotel Horoscop).
Aww and this weekend you can find LaChatterie designs at Unveild!
ps: check out the blog tomorrow for a fun '60 inspired post, that's if the sun comes up and I can take the photos....
I know I'm wearing uggs but bear with me, I'm trying to look hood, though the playlist would betray me in two seconds, hahaha...All the upper part of the outfit is from Dimensione Danza, tee, cropped hoodie and necklace. Really now, how cute is the sad/happy face necklace? If there would be one half happy, half angry it would be my staple piece for sure!
Take out your camera, put your best '60s style outfit on and win a 1,000 euros I.D. Sarrieri shopping spree! All you have to do is follow a few simple steps. Sign up for the contest by uploading a 60’s style outfit picture in the “Most Wanted: The Style Application”.
You have two weeks for this step during which on I.D. Sarrieri's page you'll find tips & tricks, on how to achieve a gorgeous '60s look, from the jury, including yours truly. No worries, I'll post them on the blog too!
Then the voting begins, make sure to be in top 15 most voted looks from which me, Irina@StyleDiary, Ioana & Claudiu from Mauvert will pick our favorite look.
Final step is to create an outfit having I.D. Sarrieri lingerie as central piece, it will take place at an awesome high-end shop, I'm not telling you more for now. Read the official guidelines here or here.
I'll do my best to support each and every one of you who submits her '60s inspired look!
Last Look of the Day of October comes from a fairly new blogger Oana@Evolving in Style, she sent me another look at the end of September but it's too cold right now for that one, brrr! You should definitively check out her blog!
How Jane Birkin inspires you? Leave a comment with your answer, name & email address.

And if we're talking about inspiration, check out Alexa Chung on the cover of Harper's Bazaar, Jane Birkin inspired cover that would be! Check more here, this is inspiration for another fun project... I'll tell you more tomorrow!
Happy birthday to Pixie Shoes! Two years today and they're offering 20% off every order made on the site, except outlet pieces. The above pair are my new pretty custom brogues, second pair to date, and I took advantage of the blogger app to post from my iPhone:)
As you know Reverto is our October Look of the day sponsor, we only have one more look and then the voting starts, but let me tell you more about Reverto.
I first tried Reverto products last year at a Pixie Shoes event where every guest received a handmade natural soap in the most cutest package ever, if I'm not mistaken it was an oatmeal exfoliating one, and loved it. I don't think it's available anymore but I could find an oatmeal & honey one.
All the goodies on Reverto.ro are 100% natural, handmade and made in ro, soap, solid perfume, delicious body butters, lip balms and more. Aww, most of them are vegan too! So, what are you waiting for? Go visit them asap!
Last week I went along with Alice to pick some clothes from Dimensione Danza and it was quite fun. Because tutus aren't for me , I ain't no ballerina though their tutus are really cute, and you won't see me outside in sweat pants I got my hands on this cropped cozy sweater, high waist pants and big statement charm bracelet, plus a couple more stuff which you'll see next week.
I want to say that this sweater is my absolute favorite from their collection, along with a waterfall cardigan but that one was sold out, perfect for cold autumn and winter days!
