ballet noir

What has in common Lolita's personality and pretty ballerinas dresses from the paintings of Degas? Ballet noir!
It seems that designers Silvia Chiteala and Laura Cazacu drew their inspiration from these two. They used lace, tulle and taffeta to emphasize lost innocence after a decadent party.
Photographed by Codrin Serghei with Elena and Alina as the main characters aswell as Alex Iftimov as the virtue stealer, Ballet Noir's lookbook is a whimsical blend between good&bad, and how the pray becomes the hunter.
Yes, sometimes I have a twisted way to see things;)
What do you think?

I don't think that it's twisted.I think that is amazing:X It remainds me of a quote that a red a few days ago, don't know exactly who belongs to and the connection, but here it is:"Fill what’s empty, empty what’s full, scratch where it itches."

Love it, although I was never one of those girls who wanted to be a ballerina growing up.

Lovely photos...I think it's hard to resist for tulle...everything comes out so feminine and cute with tulle :-)

Hope you're having a wonderful week so far my dear friend.

Cheers: Evi
